Indianapolis, Ind. - Partnerships are critical in racing and business alike, and Rising Star Racing is pleased to announce the formation of two new strategic partnerships.

Internationally recognized Barnes & Thornburg, LLP and Cummings Meeting Consultants, well known as cmc global, have joined Rising Star Racing as strategic partners and launched the program earlier this month at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at the Angie's List Grand Prix.

Rising Star Racing was formed in 2014 with dual goals: to help further the careers of talented and deserving young open-wheel drivers and create corporate sponsorship opportunities to support those drivers into the future. Josef Newgarden (Verizon IndyCar), Spencer Pigot (Indy Lights), and Neil Alberico (Pro Mazda) were selected as Rising Star Racing drivers in 2014, and all three have made winning returns to the program in 2015.

cmc global has over 15 years of experience providing professional, high quality service that meets and exceeds expectations. An extensive vendor relationship helps cmc create a memorable and exceptional experience for their clients and their guests. The organization has local, regional, national and international experience providing project management, venue selections, catering, and production of print or audio materials, entertainment, gifts, transportation, lodging and itinerary.

Barnes & Thornburg LLP is a firm of more than 600 legal professionals throughout 12 offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Delaware, Indiana, Los Angeles, Michigan, Minneapolis, Ohio and Washington, D.C. Among the 100 largest firms in the U.S., Barnes & Thornburg have experience in virtually all the legal practice areas required to do business in today's global marketplace. The attorneys at Barnes & Thornburg serve clients from more than 50 dedicated practice and industry areas.

The firm also is a member of TechLaw Group, Inc., an international association of 20 law firms that focuses on technology companies and technology issues, and the State Capital Group, an association of nearly 120 independent law firms in all 50 U.S. state capitals and in other financial centers throughout the world.

"It is an often used thing to say in racing that you need a team behind you to accomplish things, but it's very true and we are glad to be growing our ability to service, support, and grow our network of partnerships with these new relationships with Barnes & Thornburg and cmc global," said Rising Star Racing Commercial Director Brian Bonner. "Rising Star Racing is a young entity in the sport, but we've been fortunate to generate programs with Mobé, D A Lubricants Company, Oakley, and the Epilepsy Foundation. Working with Barnes & Thornburg and cmc global will help us continue to make commercial progress as we grow towards the future."
